Haigslea Hall 1885 moved to Aratula 1950 restored by Scenic Rim Wedding Venues Pty Ltd 2022 Blackwood Barn Aratula, is currently being transformed into an ultra-luxurious Barndominium, offering elegant wedding preparation spaces, exceptional photo opportunities, luxury accommodation, and a romantic honeymoon suite.

Laurenvale Estate offers couples a rare opportunity to celebrate their love in one of the Scenic Rim's most breathtaking locations.
While Laurenvale is home to our busy equine export program, weddings hold a very special place in our hearts. Horse breeding may be one of our greatest passions and keep us wonderfully busy, but there is always time for a wedding day.
Our farm has been part of our family's story for many years, and we genuinely love sharing it with couples as they begin their own. From the happy tears and heartfelt vows to family reunions, beautiful florals, unforgettable photographs and, of course, the cake-we love cake. !!
To ensure every couple receives the personal attention and exceptional experience they deserve, we will be hosting just 20 weddings in 2027. We are not a wedding numbers factory - but want you both to feel exclusive.

My words won’t be able to express the day / night my husband and I shared.
I would constantly hear there’s always regrets or things you would change from your day… not in our case , our day was beyond perfection, everything and everyone aligned. Kathy and Paul played a huge part in keeping our day running smoothly, I couldn’t picture having a wedding without them, as our Vendors they now share more then just “vendors” in our life’s, they went above and beyond to make our day beyond describable. A wedding where in every direction is so much love and beauty from within to the landscapes of the scenic rim, the amount of love that pours out from the walls of the Blackwood barn, Blackwood barn outdoor chapel filled with fairy lights and chandeliers under the stars for our first dance.
I am forever grateful for stumbling across the scenic rim wedding venue collection, and I hope my review will help you in trusting this magical space and having the wedding of your dreams.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Paul & Kathy for their assistance and guidance to make what turned out to be a perfect wedding with all guests saying it was the best wedding they had attended. Starting with the ceremony at Laurenvale Estate under the newly constructed White Capella surrounded by breathtaking views creating the perfect background for amazing photographic memories. Then preceding to Blackwood Barn for the reception, a spacious dining area lit by incredible chandeliers creating a warm atmosphere for the setting we had envisaged. The first dance performed under the open air chapel was breathtaking creating even more memories in photos. Back inside to continue the party on the mezzanine dance floor. We thoroughly recommend Paul & Kathy they were there every step of the way , they generally love what they do and go above and beyond to make your day perfect. Thank you for making our daughter and son in laws dream day a reality.

Absolutely amazing. Right from the start Kathy and Paul were professional, welcoming and so friendly. They are in this for love and to make your day the most magical experience. So many different ceremony options, and all are stunning. We had to use the "wet weather" option on the day with being indoors at Blackwood Barn but the chandeliers make a beautiful romantic ceremony, we were told our wet weather option was better then some peoples best weather option . We got married 11.03.23 and can not recommend this place enough. Kathy has thoughtful options for everything. We used inseason catering and were told on many occasions it was the best wedding food and amount our guests had had at a wedding.
Whitewood Cottage next door is a treat to get ready in the day of and be close to everything.
